ok, so apparently councilman armstead has prevailed in the dem primary for linden mayor. success in this prelude wld historically presume a slam dunk in the general mayoral election for the democratic nominee-  but brother derek will be confronted by the fashionable 'popular' challenge in november (for obvious reasons) - old habits will die hard in "low tax" -
