ahmed and his "pencil box"

islamophobic? or a misguided phobic card? or.. w/ideologues, is yielding re-examination even possible?

all of this permissive 'non-muslim' guilt.. what if ahmed was instinctively trying to provoke this type of reaction b/c of the prevailing climate - and after this all played out - to cultivate this response as him being the innocent 'phobic victim'? now, is that position cynically paranoid - or are some just too reflexively, bleeding heart naive?

the cops probably over-reacted in processing the incident. that doesn't take away the fact that the object was clearly provocative, suggestive, if not ominous looking- and ahmed's m.o. was to, again clearly, be unresponsive, smug, and truculent when questioned

the cops obviously went beyond what was appropriate after determining it wasn't a bomb. their intent seemed to be to inflict a lesson, among other things. ahmed, i think, whiz kid that he's purported to be, knew exactly what he'd engender w/his pointedly dubious looking creation- it was no coincidence. he (14 yrs old and all) was trying to provoke, cull a frenzied reaction- then come off as the put upon, aggrieved victim cum muslim.. perhaps his parents put him up to this concoction. now, all this. ahmed ain't da vessel -
