while i'm not "happy" abt certain demonstrative particulars of the deal struck (and i suspect a number of "endorsers" also aren't), it's the deal we got. and while what's been negotiated is fraught w/inadequacies and lapses (which will, i feel, lead to ominous results), i'm realistic & pragmatic enough to accept that the alternative to ratification- at this point, is consequential diplomatic & effectual morass- on many levels. grudging acceptance is not unmitigated endorsement, is it?
