... so, are we ready?

call me gullible. i felt mhp's apology as emotionally sincere. as wrong as she and her show were last wk - to own it and not equivocate - as many of her supporters have - is (oh, i don't know...) appropriate. what's done is done. let's move on.

... as per a recent fb piece:  my reservations concerning snowden's "revelations" have more to do with the absolutely necessary real life nature of down&dirty intelligence/security operations (notwithstanding the ever evolving balance involving public/personal intrusion), and how they realistically (com'on now, don't be coy) help shield us from 911's, and such - more to do w/that, than all the anecdotal incidentals - many of which, btw, any student of rudimentary intelligence gathering had to presume has been going on for eons (commensurate w/technological capabilities). let's not fail to concede, that ALL entities/nations with access (directly or otherwise) to that tech engage in a similar level of operational gathering. from what i have read, many snowden supporters' lack of acknowledgement on especially those last few points is rather revealing. not to mention, the lack of equal opportunity cynicism regarding ruski edward, the noble martyr -

now for the important stuff - the first of the two best wknds in sport: nfl wild card saturday & sunday... jumping to tmrw afternoon, it's just impossible to consider ANY team having an advantage when the temperature ventures into the -20's (w/wind chill).  with that said, whichever squad (49ers/gb) survives w/the fewest frostbite cases - wins. we all know the saints can't win a playoff game on the road - particularly in wintery conditions... that said, here's hoping philly spanks that visor wearin sean payton/finger lickin drew brees/goalpost dunkin jimmy graham azz. despite cincy's undefeated home field record this year, their relative lack of post-season success - and andy dalton, fail to inspire much confidence. if rivers/san diego can fight through those wintery
elements, don't be surprised by another bengal shortfall.  i'm intrigued with how the chief/colt contest plays out... much points to an indy victory (especially considering how luck & co. handled kc at arrowhead a few wks ago - but all season, just when all were prepared to include the colts among the nfl elite- they dropped da ball... i'll go w/kc. anyways- enjoy the 1st wk of nfl christmas -
